ConcentratorsReflectors are mirrors that reflect additional sunlight in PV modules so that the extra solar energy they receive produces twice as much energy. They are small in dimensions, simple to manufacture and reliable with zero maintenance. They can be used in installations PV panels from 50Wp to 300Wp, with solar tracking systems of single or double drive horizontal axis. A comparison between the annual energy production of fixed PV panels and panels with rotating reflector (concentrator) can be shown in the chart below. Measurement results show that, on a sunny day in July (6,8 kWh/m2.) observed an increase of the energy produced by 107%. ![]() The overall increase of the energy produced is 100% in cases of simple panels, on a rotating basis with solar concentrators compared to a fixed support, without solar concentrator. The increase in the amount of water pumped is up to 150% because the system running for a longer time over the limit. The first value in the early hours corresponds to the photovoltaic conversion of direct solar radiation incident on the back of the solar system before the morning orientation to the east.
